All Team Managers/Team Parents participating on the sideline along side the players and coaches, are required by the AYL to have their USA Heads Up Football Certification completed.
Thunder Football encourages all teams to have atleast 1 parent volunteer as Team Manager to assist the Head Coach with various tasks that could include the following:
Communication to team through Website
(you will have the same rights to your team through the website as the coach)
Upload of practice schedule on team calendar on website
Planning of Pre Season, In Season, and End of Season Team Events
Assisting with Pre-Season tournaments
Assist with Weigh Ins
Assist with uniform orders and hand out
Play count during regular season games
Scheduling Team Pictures
Bringing half time snacks and after game snacks to each game
Sideline assistance with players
If you wish to volunteer as the Team Manager for your team, please contact your Head Coach to discuss the details. Each team and Head Coach is different and there is no set protocol to follow.....It's at the descretion of the Head Coach.
Should you wish to fundraise for your team, that is at the descretion of each team.
The Thunder Organization DOES NOT provide the clubs tax exempt certificate as it is against the rules and regulations of our non-profit status.
